The Killruddery Summertime Photography Competition

Killruddery House & Gardens is delighted to announce details of the summertime photography competition which is organised in conjunction with Canon Consumer Imaging and The Institute of Photography.  

Photographers of all abilities are invited to submit digital photos taken in the Gardens during the season's opening times and on Special Event days.

The launch of the Competition will take place on Saturday, 4th July between 1 pm and 6 pm.  It promises to be a bonanza for amateur and professional photographers alike.  A number of photography experts will be in attendance on the day to offer visitors advice, and Canon will have a wide range of products on display. Admission to the Gardens for this special event will be free.  Guides from Killruddery House & Gardens will be on hand to reveal some of the venue’s best vantage points for photography.
  
The competition is open to budding amateurs and professional photographers alike and entries can be made online until midnight on Monday 14th September, with over €5,000 worth of prizes to be given away.  The thirty best entries will be exhibited in the Orangery at Killruddery House & Gardens from Saturday, 26th until Wednesday, 30th September 2009, when the winners will be announced.
