We just wanted to remind you all of some of the really terrific events we have on at Killruddery this weekend and over the rest of the Month. We are so lucky to have Nico and Martin with us this weekend, The Instant Orchestra and Sound Circle are really unique and fun events for all the family.
Resheduled Live music in the Tearoom: Vyvienne Long
Sunday August 13th, 3 pm
This event has been resheduled because of the terrible weather last weekend. We are delighted that Vyvienne will be playing this Sunday no matter what the weather. If the weather is fine she will play in the Tearoom and if it is not then she will be playing in the Orangery. Normal Garden Entry applies.
The Instant Orchestra and Sound Circle with Nico and Martin
This is going to be a really great event and we cannot emphasize enough how worthwhile coming along and joining in is.
Sound Circle.
Saturday 13th August at 2pm & Sunday 14th August at 10a.m.
The Sound Circle offers you and your family the opportunity to actively take part in Music Making in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Nico and Martin invite families with children aged up to 12 to dive into the sea with them for a gently participatory hour. There will be musical instruments both strange and familiar, songs, games, stories… and quite possibly pirates! Numbers are limited to 50, so to avoid disappointment do book in advance.
Instant Orchestra.
Sunday 14th August at 4pm
For more than twenty years Nico and Martin have travelled Ireland and abroad introducing new participants to the fun and musical adventure that is the Instant Orchestra. In that time they’ve played with children and adults of all ages and in places as far apart as Connemara and Siberia. They’ve played in tents, in schools, in theatres, at festivals, in hospitals, in parks, in the desert, on boats and on TV and radio and had everyone from the Hothouse Flowers to Mrs Mary Robinson participate. Now they’re coming to Killruddery and it’s your chance to be a part of this incredible experience!
Killruddery Festival
Killruddery is delighted to play host to three very special concerts this month.
