EVENT DESCRIPTION
Justin Ivory’s enthusiasm for birds and wildlife in general is contagious. This illuminative talk is for those curious to learn about the birds who share our Irish gardens. Do you wake in the morning to the sound of birdsong and wonder from which beak it sounds?
Justin will outline the who, what, where, why and when - with special focus on the ten most common calls in our local vicinity. A great session to attend in advance of our International Dawn Chorus Walk on the 7th May. Aim to begin or add to the repertoire of bird calls you recognise!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to identify a bird simply by hearing a few notes of their song?
WHO IS THIS TALK FOR?
- Those wishing to learn more about songbirds and recognise their call
- This talk is for complete beginners and those wishing to develop their ornithology
- Anyone wishing to spend time with like minded individuals while learning something new
