What’s on in Killruddery
Sat 12 Nov 2016 until 10 Dec 2016 | 10:30 |
The Jim Jam Jug Band workshop is designed to bring parents and children together in a fun and creative setting, to learn how to sing and play simple traditional American folk and blues songs.
There will be an opportunity to try out many different percussive and stringed instruments that are easy to get started on. If you or your child already play an instrument you are very welcome to bring it along but it is by no means a prerequisite.Expect instruments such as spoons, washboards, pizza box percussion, suitcase bass drum, washtub bass, ukulele, guitar, banjo, jug (mimicking a tuba using a large ceramic or glass jug) and a whole array of shakers and percussive sound effects.
This takes place at Killruddery Farm Market in the Shoot Room, on Saturdays from the 12th of Novemeber to 10th December, 10.30am-11.30am.
Booking is essential please contact Shane directly on 087 9983495 or email@example.com to reserve your place.
