Meet Milliner Carol Smith in the Orangery and try out your skills at designing and making your own headpiece in this one hour workshop.
Milliner Carol Smith also teaches techniques in millinery for creating elaborate and stylish headpieces from start to finish at her studios in Clara Vale near Rathdrum. During her one-day workshop Carol introduces you to skills on how to design your creation, pattern making, assembling a headpiece and how to embellish and decorate the finished piece.
Alternatively you can bring some of your old hats and learn how to re-vamp them into more modern pieces.
