This Father’s Day, we a celebrate times gone by with a day of traditional games and a special vintage car rally. Take a trip down memory lane and introduce your children to the games you loved as a child. To complete this perfect day of nostalgia the Garden of Ireland Vintage Car Club will put on a display that will delight the entire family. The Garden will be divided into several sections, each dedicated to a different fun activity Races of all descriptions, Tug of War, Croquet and much more!
Motor car enthusiasts will be in heaven at the Garden of Ireland Vintage Car Club display with vehicles dating from 1914 to 1972 including a 1914 Ford Model T, a classic American Buick from 1920, a luxurious Rolls Royce from 1927 and a striking 1929 Morris Cowley. All owners of these beautiful cars will be hand to answer any questions regarding the renovation and upkeep of these wonderful vehicles and you can even get your photo taken with your favourite car.
Once you’ve had your fill of running, throwing and rolling around the Gardens or simply need to re-fuel before heading back for a second helping of fun, there are several options available to you. The delightful Killruddery Tearooms will serve seasonal soups, gourmet sandwiches, kitchen garden salads, spectacular home baked cakes and scones. Situated next to the Tearoom, The Crepe Box will be on site, serving mouth-watering sweet or savoury crepes and Ed Hick will be going what he does best with his delicious hand-made hot-dogs.

The entrance for this event is €10 per adult, €5 per child, €25 for a family ticket and children under 5 are free. Friends of Killruddery Members receive a 20% discount.
