Saturday 23 Jun 2012 until 24 Jun 2012 | 09:00

Monika Fabijanczyk and Killruddery House and Gardens have the pleasure of inviting you to the wet plate collodion photography workshop. Wet plate collodion is a 19th century technique of taking photographs on glass or metal plates with use of a large format camera and special chemicals. Each photograph in this process is fully handmade and one of a kind.

In this 2 day, intensive course participants will learn how to create their own ambrotypes. Which are in-camera positive images on glass. It will be a journey in to the world of photographic alchemy. With the surroundings here at Killruddery corresponding with the collodion’s aesthetics.

Included in the charge for this course is chemicals, equipment, and  your lunch. Pre-booking for this course is necessary, to do so please contact Monika Fabijanczyk at fabijanczykphotography@gmail.com. You can also find more information on Monika and her work here.
